Elizabeth Stewart Clark & Company

Would you like to learn about historic clothing, research, and living history interpretation in person? Sponsor or attend one of our Sewing Academy series near you!

One thing to note: we do not typically charge a speaker’s reservation or fee! Our travel and series production costs are most often covered by individual workshop registrations. We want to make it as easy as possible for your living history group, museum, or site to provide top-quality training opportunities  in your region.

NEW FOR 2021: Zoom workshops from home! Click through to see what we have on the schedule, and reserve your seat!

Email us with your questions, or to put us in touch with the educational or interpretive coordinator for your site or group!

About The Sewing Academy
With a focus on the 1840-1865 era, The Sewing Academy is your home on the (internet) range for resources to help you meet your living history goals!

Elizabeth Stewart Clark has been absorbed by the mid-19th century for over 20 years. She makes her home in the Rocky Mountains with her husband, four children (from wee to not-so-wee), far too many musical instruments, and five amusing hens.
